Id really like to see more cool things being purchaseable with skill points. I feel its kinda mundane what you can do with them currently. Id love to see what ideas others would have to spend this currency on
Cooler Elite Skills (note not OP) hell they could just be cosmetic only. Like Warrior signet of rage where on activation you take on a red hase or even change form (more suitable for norns). Guardians getting a blue fire aura etc etc.
New Weapon skills. The ability to buy a new skill for no 2 (any number 2 is just the example). For instance longswords hamstring could give a 2 sec stun instead of a 10 sec slow etc. And again as above with the elite ya could have the same skils but add some cool effect to go with it.
Trophies. Since SP is like your gaining more and more experiance as you travel the world, along the way you could collect trophies that you could use to adorn your armour with. Some berserker decorating himself with quaggan skulls etc, the limits are kinda boundless. A back banner etc
Weapons reskin. I dont mean your dagger would look like a longbow. I mean GS could look like a greataxe, longbow to xbow etc.
I agree that skill points should have other use after getting all skills then basically ussing them to get legendaries. While I don’t support the idea of adding new skill effects that not cosmetic, anything else like getting skins/titles/mics items would be really nice.
i dont agree only on the weapon reskin thing. Its without sense, you see a warrior with a GS, and you start take AOE damage from distance … its not funny ^^
Because, like Guild Wars before it, GW2 doesn’t fall into the traps of traditional MMORPGs.

Lutharr said that he doesn’t mean to change skin to a different weapon, personally I think they should stay in the same category, no axes that look like swords and vice versa, just different weapon skins like the ones that you can get during events, just those you can get using sp

You can always make them expensive (10 000 000SP) or even after buying them you would need to use transmute stone

as someone else said I dont mean have longbows looking like swords etc. A long bow looking like a crossbow is fine, greatsword looking like a greataxe. Aslong as they are a simular style weapon its not game breaking just adds cosmetic depth.
