I have noticed that there are a lot of really old posts and threads which bring up problems that should have been addressed by now, such as how little the choices you make in dialog or character creation actually affect the personal story. I’d love it if someone on the ArenaNet team would go through some of those threads and try to implement some of the suggestions they think would be possible. Quite a few would make me want to keep playing past level 28, which I don’t want to do anymore due to the blandness of this huge part of the game. Stop focusing so much on the Living Story please.

Those are definitely NOT “serious problems” nor are they very high on the priority list.

You also seem to ignore that more or less the whole first half of the Personal Story is based on choices during character creation. And much after that is based on choices made during missions.

not sure who thinks personal story is so important that it need rework. after completing personal story there is no use for it, the factions we never see at 80, neither do we get any good items from personal story, or can use it for any thing.

Living story is also a dull bull. i’d prefer some thing good and big like raids instead. also would be nice if dungeons would be fixed, the skipping runs are not intended mechanic.

I just meant that I found serious problems with it at the point I’ve reached now. The beginning was great, but that was it. After that, it went downhill quickly.

I may be but a few that does enjoy the whole personalstory, but it is not without its flaws, the final reward feels like i could have jsut got together from 30 mins of grinding random mobs, the cut scenes is dull and is meant for a bygone era of RPGs, i found it hard to get attached to characters on my first playtrough, but i don’t see them redoing it anytime soon.

But arenanet has learned, and improved, and this is what with get in the living story, more immersive cutscenes, loveable rewards, and characters i can attach myself too, alas not without its flaws, it is some major improvements in the right direction.

i just wish they would add some point to the charming/dignity/ferocity responces.. i mean.. is there even a point to that.. at all? i thought they said there might be armor dedicated to what conversation options you picked.. but that never happened.. instead its 100% useless.. so why is it even there?
