Time Table
I’ve always wondered, why the feature isn’t in the game. Wouldn’t imagine it to be hard to add one more column to the “Roster” tab and get the last login time/“Online” text displayed there. Unless the table consists of some very low quality code that isn’t easily extensible. And a simple query like that to get the data out of the database can’t possibly have a huge impact on the performance.
I’ve always wanted this in my guild !
I remember in GW1 where it was just there, and now, without it I can feel the lack of power over inactive players in my guild…
If it is difficult to implement with the existing backend then can you at least extend the API so we can check this(per-player-per-guild) outside of the game?
See https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Put-the-Guild-back-in-Guild-Wars-2/first for my attempt to suggest the same 7 months ago :-)
A time table for guilds would be very useful indeed, it would really help out to see who the active members are in the guild. So that it would be more easy to keep the number of active people high. I would highly appreciate this feature coming to Guild Wars 2.
Sounds like a great idea!
I agree with the topic starter. This instrument would be useful. And I think not only for guild leaders but for all players too. I for one would like to know when my friends were online.

I also agree with all points laid out above. Adding an extra column showing last time online or even hovering over the online/offline box to get a time indication would be a great help to all guilds. It would allow a much more manageable system to route out inactive players and allow guilds to grow and develop at a faster rate rather than having to solely rely on the rank system which has a number of flaws when its used to check for activity.
I think this is pretty straightforward.
Anet has created a very nice system with multiple guilds and representation. It does put more pressure on guild leaders, especially the larger guilds, to admin and manage the guild roster.
In my opionion this is just the sort of information and tools that makes a guild leaders life just that little bit easier.
Definitely something that should be added, been requested for quite a long time too
