i like titles and the idea of them. I was thinking maybe there was a way to spruce them up a bit since in general you don’t actually notice them..

i thought maybe the title could be tied in with a cosmetic display around it.

So lets say “emissary of the mad king”
there would be different font and maybe a couple pumpkins around it like a border.

just a thought anyways

A bit like Modern Warfare? Hrrrm, I don’t know about that, there should be an option to remove the pictures and stuff around it in case you don’t like the way it looks.
Anyway, not a bad idea.
I’d like to see titles for having many titles like GWAMM.

In the game there are 2 icons now: a “star” for map completion and a “blue thing” for commanders. Adding different icons depending on what title you choose to display it’s a good idea but it will become pretty confusing if the numbers of titles will grow.

My idea on titles visuals is different. I would award the player with a “flying esper”
This is some sort of gadget invented by Asura that will fly around the character. Designing these little toys will be a challenge but in the end it will be worth it.
These Espers will be different depending on what title the character has chosen to display.
These Espers wont clutter the screen but it will be seen in the world and recognized even without selecting a player.

As you said about the Mad King Title… the Flying Esper can be a burning pumpkin

For those who played Jade Dynasty, they will understand better what I mean by “Flying Esper”.

For those who don’t really understand what I am talking about, watch the next clip and pay attention to the “flying things” that each character has around

Bleurgh, those espers seem far too Japanese’y for my liking.

Titles are pretty much worthless in this game. I can’t see my own name, let alone display any titles I’ve earned, so what’s the point?
Really wish we could see our own names and what guild we are representing, let alone being able to pick a title we’ve earned to display.

You can select a title i9n Hero , achievement tab top left. Its visible if others select you.
