To fix WvW, cut player numbers.
No, they need to drastically increase player numbers and increase number of maps to spread them out over, preferably bigger than the pintsized maps we have now
Simple fix as stated in title, lower the numbers, I will explain what this will do.
1. It will fix the very bad skill lag and frame rate lag for those with medium powered PC’s. This lag ruins the game completely as does population imbalance.
2. It will balance the WvW game out, limiting the high WvW population servers to have only so many per map allowing the lower WvW servers an easier time filling the lower player caps thus an equal playing field since they can now play without being outnumbered constantly.
3. Yes this will increase que time for the higher population WvW servers, but if you offer free transfers to lower pop servers, this would alleviate some of this and also balance things out even more.
Side notes you may want to auto kick players not participating at a faster rate than it is now. I would remove crafting vendors.
What the magic number is I have no idea, since I do not have the current numbers allowed per map, but as it is now, it is set to high. Zergs beyond say 40 players is probably to many.
