Tonics....
I agree that tonics should be tradable.
I never liked them in GW1, I thought they were a waste of time unless you had another reason to spend hours on end hanging around in town. If they didn’t give title points I’d never have used them at all.
But clearly other people loved them because they’d spend a small fortune for their favourites. I might not get why, but I can accept it because I collect minis which many other people think are pointless.
So it seems extremely silly for me to be stuck with tonics that I feel torn between using or destroying and don’t enjoy having either way, when somewhere out there is someone who would love to have them.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
If they actually wiped you off the aggro lists for mobs, you could at least use them for exploration.
As it is, they’re mostly just a waste of space.
Now, if it let you FIGHT as the mob you were mimicking for a while that might be cool. At least as a gimmick.
Maybe implement them in dueling? e.g. you can duel as Monster_X against someon else’s Animal_Y? That could be fun.
Ah tonics, you mean the blue things I delete as soon as they pop out of a chest? :P
Useless waste of space indeed. Either make them tradeable, or give us a expandable slot bar where the tonics would go, they shouldn’t take room in the bags.
More importantly, allow us to jump while transformed, and give each form the skills of the originals. If I’m a panther, I expect to pounce and stealth.
Let the owl fly/glide (only downwards never up), instead of falling from bridges. Sure, it is OP in puzzles, just put a cubed trigger zone in each puzzle, disabling transformations. Besides, why not allow it there? What’s wrong with using a tonic to get to those hard to reach places? The flight could have a 5-10second duration as well to minimize problems.
And for the love of god add an achievement for using them.
