Even heavy armor has skirts!

I’d like to see more pants. Nice pants, tight pant, stylish pants. We need a fashion forum so we can talk about important things like… clothing.

Many skirts in GW2 have also pants in them which means they offer more protection than only pants. My 2c there you go.

I think there are enough pants as it is. Even the pretty light armored tier 1 human armor has pants though it’s a pants skirt hybrid ^_^

Do think there should be more heavy armor legs without the skirt type set up,think that’s is the worst armor class for this issue.

except some people want straight pants so no that’s not really an option >.> I’d love to see some plain straight pants especially for light and medium. Why does everything have to look like a dress or skirt? I’ve only seen 2 real pant options for light and they are ugly (sorry what’s up with those weird windows on the hips of the genie pants? looks awkward. The top is cool, but those pants are ugly) .

Some classes lack pants, but others just have too many long tops that cover them.

edit – right now my engineer is wearing pants… and most of the armor options is some form of pants. So I’m not sure what your talking about. Unless your talking about female characters.

There are plenty of pants in this game. Matter of fact, medium armor actually covers you up the most. There’s only a few skirts for heavy armor, and there are many pants for light armor.

Use the transmutation stone if you don’t like the way you look. I honestly think light armor looks really nice in this game — on the other hand, medium armor I’m not too fond of, and heavy is okay..

All in all, GW2 can use some more/better design artists, because all the armors look really plain. I’m looking forward to expansions already (and new hairstyles).

I agree 100%. Playing as an asuran guardian, skirts look absolutely horrible. I have to spend hours just trying to find a heavy armor skin for pants so my character doesn’t look as dumb. More heavy pants would be welcomed here.

I’m guessing you play as a male? Females wear 90% skirts or pants with buttcapes. We want straight PANTS JUST PANTS. No buttcapes. 95% of the medium armor for women is buttcapes! It makes it look like a half dress which is nice and all, but I want sometimes to just wear pants with a cute top.

Must say I agree. But how about more tops for medium armor which are not full length jackets. How about short jackets or simply tops/tunics?

Personally, I wish we had more heavy armour options with “skirts”. Plate legs always look awkwardly thin without any embellishments on them in MMOs.

Just remember, before entering the Fashion forum, you must put on a pin-stripe fedora, silky-useless scarf and non-prescription thick rimmed glasses.

Why the heck can’t I find a decent pair of heavy armor pants without a freakin skirt for my guardian? Oh, and I agree that there are too many skirts for the light armor, would like some pant/top options there that don’t make me feel like I should cross my arms, bob my head and say “Yes, Master.” And for medium armor – why the heck are they all jackets?

Yes, I’m a girl and I play a chick toon – and I want pants for the love of whatever the heck is making these decisions.

I want to see more variety in armor skins all together. Hopefully it’s coming.

Amen. I’d have to agree with this. Take a page out of Aion armor designs, Anet.

Im also tired of all of that stupid female “armors” that consist in a bra with a thong, if its heavy armor its a metalic of the above, if its light its clothes, and if its medium its leather… this kills the medieval atmosfere of the game, you can not take the atmosfere serious if you are constantly jumping into females whores all over the world.

Less coats and more body armor belt straps for all armor types!

Medium armor could use skirts without the pants and pants without the buttcapes.

My light armor wearers would like to be able to wear the male skirts (they are girls) since they look WAY better than that bunch of female lingerie.
We need more armor, period. Pants, better looking skirts, everything.

Because the atmosphere its part of the game, if not then any game will be metal slug with all that parodies and all that stuff, that fited in that game, but some games needs to be serious, and not some stupid parody, or like i said, you are in amedieval fantasy world and then you see a friggin kitten with all of her body parts exposed, how you are going to take this seriously, this game has even a some sort of character development a story, so this game its not a facebook game that no one cares, how are we suppouse to care about the world, the events the story if you are seing a buch of whores everywhere.

GW2 is what you get when you throw humans that are sorta steampunk-ish but still sorta medieval, industrial and war-oriented kittens, epic viking giants, British treehuggers and tiny house-elves with their magic-crystal-rainbow stuff together in the same world. That’s the atmosphere. I’m pretty sure this was never meant to be a medieval game.

I would love to have more pants options on my casters, and maybe more skirt options on my Asura.
