Looking at the Black Lion Trading Company gem store (under the style section) really leaves one to wonder, why is there such a bare selection for town clothing, especially for female characters. There are no dresses or other elegant clothes available.

It’s understandable that there are people that have no use for this but it is currently a feature that some of us love about the game. Hoping that there are others that would join in with requesting dresses for the ladies.

I know a couple peeps who would like to see fancier clothes for the ladies. But not anything like the showgirl starter armour for light clothies. Elegant, not flaunty… Or (sad to say this) kittenty…

I, as well as others I know, would love to see town clothes, and even better, armour skins for the ladies that looks reminiscent of mesmer armour from guild wars 1… I want to see Countess Anise’s clothes around… We can be everyone else practically, but we can’t get her outfit.

Anyway, just my .02¢ worth.

Adding my vote here for more elegant feminine clothing!

I just want the existing NPC town clothes to be available for gold via a vendor in each town/city. None of this gem store stuff (though that’s fine for those who want to spend real cash on virtual clothes) – give the town clothes function a real purpose.

One word: Cowls!

Dresses with cowls! I’d really like to walk around in something more regal or formal. Its odd how a lot of the clothes in the gemstore are very casual. But we don’t have clothes for formal occasions. I’d like to see clothes for the upper class. Cowls and long dresses, maybe even tiaras. And I would prefer it if they looked less generic. I’d like to see town clothes with a bit of identity. Like how about some dresses that look really sinister or majestic?

All of the town clothing has Male and Female designs.
Female Human, and Male human, both wearing the EXACT same peice of gear, will have different looks. Take the khaki shorts for example.
On a Male, they go to the knees. On a female, they are glorified Bootyshorts.

Yes, we need more feminine town clothes. The new blouses are cute, but they only look cute on my human characters. The shorts show too much skin, and though I understand that there are a lot of people that like that, it simply doesn’t fit any of my characters (and it looks like a diaper on my Asura). If we could have some dresses and long skirts, something regal, that would be great. I would also appreciate more race-themed town clothes, since everything right now seems to be designed for humans. I know they are popular, alright, but the other races need love too! ^^

Well, there’s tons of things they could do with town clothes.

Sadly, town clothes are less popular than weapon skins for obvious reasons.

Heck, if I could get a good suit or tux for my warrior, I’d buy it instantly.
