MMO players are notoriously vain! This is something that has obviously been noted by the developers of the game, the ability to mix and match what you wear and how it looks must be one of the best I’ve seen in an MMO thus far! But there are a few gripes I’ve had with the current system, and I know this is a pretty widespread problem and the issues are twofold.

One – The town clothes available are very limited, and some of the Gem store choices are not Lore friendly

Two – there are heavy restrictions on how certain characters can dress, for example medium armor users are often stuck wearing kitten manly trench coats, which is cool for some, but not for others.

The question obviously is how can these two issues be resolved? Quite simply! Probably with minimal effort on the part of the developers.

My solution being the ability to use any armor you can find, whether you can equip it in combat or not, as town clothes. In combat situation such as fighting in the open fields and in PvP, your class will still appear distinct and obvious, clothing restrictions would still apply, and quite rightly so but in cities where players just want to show off, the ability to mix and match any set of medium, heavy or light armor for use as town clothes would be a real boon to those players like myself who love to dress up their characters in the most fancy of outfits!

This system would likely involve the use of a basic transmuting stone, perhaps still having the same level restriction making higher level armors more difficult to convert for added prestige when you do! perhaps adding to the transmutation stones an option for conversion into town clothes. Or perhaps special transmutation stones available to buy from vendors!

By doing this players would be presented with wider choice for customization, and the ability to look good, and no longer be irritated by class restrictions, while still maintaining the current armor system!
