This idea is not mine, I read it on Reddit and hopefully I’m not stealing TOO much of the fellow’s thunder here…apologies if I am, I just go so excited for this idea.

The idea was that town clothes provide a unique skill bar, similar to form changes via tonics etc, that provide the option to get speed boost, perhaps a few emotes (could even be unique to town clothes) and other RP-rich options for our RP brethren. I’m not against the idea of a cheap ‘toy’ being required for these skills if town clothes won’t do it. Something that is purchasable via in-game currency so it’s available to everyone. A book? A knife? A doll? Anything really. I figure these abilities could be limited to towns only? Maybe?

I figure this would encourage people to get more town clothes so they don’t look like everyone else. People would swap to TCs in town to run faster and realize they want to look unique. Gotta buy a new set! Buy new set. Rinse, repeat. There would be a larger market for town clothes in the gem store.

This is a great idea. Why waste that skill space? Let the RPers use it! Much better than having to “/” all the time
