Here are some things that I would like to suggest for the Trading Post to improve it. Obviously there are some bugs and features already being worked on, and I haven’t listed the one’s I know about here.

Pick Up

• Stack items of the same type in the pick up window.
• Allow pick up of individual entries from the pick up window.
• Provide an option for the list of purchased items to be shown so that the newest incoming items are listed first.

My Transactions

• Rather than a drop-down that requires two clicks, use four separate buttons at the top to access the different pages.
• On the “Item’s I’m Selling” page, show the total amount of gold that would be earned if the items were to sell.
• On the “Item’s I’ve Bought/Sold” pages, show the total gold value of all the purchases/sales respectively.

Trading Post (Item Search/Details)

• Highlight or star rows that contain one’s bids when viewing the custom offers for items.
• Instead of having to cancel bids to change them, allow them to be altered from the item detail page under “Listings”.
  Suggestion: Provide arrows to increase/decrease the bid under listings, or have a button for each row on hover. There could also be a type-in field near the Refresh button: “Change Bid: [fields go here]”. A confirmation dialog would show the difference in gold that would be charged/refunded.
• Similarly when selling, allow one to change the asking price. Provide a confirmation for any extra listing fees that will be charged during the process.
• Show what filters are applied to a search after it is executed.

Miscellaneous

• Allow marking of items as “favorites”, even if it is a limited amount. These could then be viewed at a glance somewhere.
• Do not count mails from the Gem Store against the mailbox limit; treat them somewhat like quest mails instead.
• Add some achievements for buying/selling things on the Trading Post, such as “Prolific Shopper” or “Astute Business Person”.

Here’s another.

• On the Sell tab, provide an option to “add all to existing listings”, which, as the name suggests, would add all items that can be sold to any existing listings one has

Although markets sometimes change quickly, an option to sell as previously listed could also be useful in some cases, especially if one had just sold said items. In this case, each item on the sell pane could have the ability to be highlighted (or checked), and the desired option could be chosen. The information is handily available in the log already.

I’m not sure if it exists, but there could be a bag that excludes items from these options.

Please give us the ability to change our selling price bids. Otherwise we end up with items on the tp for days that turn into weeks or more and that will never sell, because people undercut us, and then 20 other people undercut them. Eventually we have no choice but to just remove it and vendor it.

I second everything that has been said here but most of all being able to pick up individual items from the trading post would be fantastic. I’m screwed at the moment because my pick up backlog is too big to collect. I keep having to ask guildies to buy me things of the TP/AH as I can’t pick up things myself. I have no idea how to fix this…
