On the trading post the lowest priced item sells first.
My suggestion is that in order to sell something cheaper than the current items, they must be sold at least 1-2% cheaper than the current lowest.
Even 1 copper (practically nothing) can push other players sales to the back of the line. This is fine for items which don’t cost any more than a few silvers, but when you’ve got something quite valuable which sells for over 50s-50g+ it can be quite a pain.
Here’s an example of my suggestion:
- To beat 1 silver, the item needs to be priced as 99 copper or lower.
- To beat 1 gold, the item needs to be priced as 99 silver or lower.
(for the latter; any prices between “99s : 1c” and “99s : 99c” cannot be made)
Additional information:
- Please note; listing fees for highly priced items can be very costly, and are non-refundable.
- Players should also be free to match current lowest, or price the item any amount higher as they like.
