Unless I’ve missed something somewhere in which case I hope someone will enlighten me, I really hate having to pickup EVERYTHING in the Trading Post and would prefer to have the option to just pickup single items. Adding a quantity check box to the list of items or the ability to right click and drag would be appreciated.

ie. buying multiples of dyes/weapons/mats that you want for different characters but only one is able to pick them all up

I completely agree with this. There needs to be an option to only pick up select items since the TP is account wide.

If I buy something on the TP for one of my characters but don’t have time to get to the TP to pick them up before switching characters I often end up picking up those items on the wrong character and have to put them in my bank (which has very limited space, since that’s shared account wide also) in order to transfer them to the proper character.

I’d like this in the mail as well, especially as we can’t get a whole armor set in one mail. That means the sixth piece might be included with other miscellaneous items that we don’t want to haul out of the mail just yet.

With limited storage and transfer ability, we do need to choose what to pull out when from the TP and the mail.

i guess the only problem with that is anet doesnt want tp to be used as “secondary” torage for a lack of a better term

Then maybe taking a subset of items out could start a timer on the others? Though I don’t know what happens when the timer runs out, since they can’t delete items you paid for, and if it auto-mails the things then you’ve gotten around the requirement to pick them up at the TP NPC.

Hmm. Perhaps they could put a limit on number of items that can wait in the TP, similar to the mail limit. Thus you have to remove things from it before you can buy more, but at least you can remove them to the correct characters.
