Trait "Presets"
I support this idea. We should be able to switch presets around as we need. Maybe deactivate this feature in WvW to prevent an abuse of the system (and maybe in dungeons too for a same reason) but let us switch around in the open PvE zones.
I agree, it might be abused in such situations. It can still be convenient if you swap to a different preset trait before queuing for WvW.
i would not mind this idea as long your locked once you enter a Dungeon or PvP world. it would promote to trying different style of play.
I like the idea but it should have similarities to having to go to a Trainer and paying to have the Traits reset. – Most definitely there should be a cost and be out of combat or it would completely change the way the game is played.
ATM, I have to write down or guess what my last set was.
I don’t mind paying and I don’t mind running to an NPC but why make it so difficult to restore a favorite Trait sets?
They could just add 2 pve specs to switch from like you could have one for general pve and a second for dungeons and have a special spec just for wvw that gets switched to automatically when you enter wvw.
Considering that you can already switch between weapons on the fly out of combat and change your utility skills as you go as well – I don’t see why changing trait “Presets” would hinder that play style. Instead of having to talk to an npc every time to access trait presets, how about purchasing the trait preset from that npc for a one time price? In my opinion it would create a more enjoyable and convenient play style.

I like the idea of having a separate spec for wvw. Not so sold on pve, since outside of dungeons one spec should suffice (and then some classes might have a heavy support build for dungeoning).
Maybe just two pages. Separate resets for each (paying resets only your current one), and just put a lengthy cooldown on switching (like 5-10 min, enough that you can’t go nuts, but not so long that going to the trainer to reset is faster).
