I’m kind of surprised nobody ever mentioned it and that it’s lacking ingame

I mean traits icons that are just roman numbers is pretty low if you ask me O.o

Not only it’s very confusing as I tend to forget what trait I just selected, it’s also not very RPGish

I mean what we all want from rpg are shiny rewards and excuse me – but after waiting 10 levels for selecting a new trait, I want the new cool trait to look cool and new – not just a number 7 instead of 6 :S That’s pretty dumb and not very motivating

I think Anet have gazzillion artwork from which they could create tiny little tematic icons, as well as adding tier borders – where tier 1 traits would have for example silver border, tier 2 golden border and tier 3 diamond border

I think it’s not that hard to pull off and leveling your character wouold be somehow more rewarding – then getting another 4 borring grey numbers to choose from ://

Sorry for double post, but it seemed to me that this topic never showed up in the forum, just testing it

I can guess that these icons are temporary since many skills in PvP are still old icons used from Guild Wars 1. For anyone new to Guild Wars game completely, whenever a skill icon appears on your screen and appears smaller than normal, that would be a skill icon from Guild Wars 1.
