Have you ever wished to switch between different sets of gear, traits or even skills with just pressing one button?

This is my idea, create a set of profiles avaiable for every character created. Any player may just set his gear, traits and action bar skills (maybe even pets for ranger) and save it as a Profile, name (and possibly rename it if needed) and then have all these Profile’s tabs saved in their hero’s panel. Your friends want to do a Fractal run and u want to switch to a PvE traits set with Agony res gear? Click the right profile and you are in it. After the fractal you want to do some WvWvW with another set of traits and WvWvW gear? Click the WvW profile and you’re served.

How to not make this exploitable?

Make profile switching possible only out of combat, with something like a 10 sec casting time and a 5 mins cooldown.

How to make profitable this change?

Accounts will have only one profile (the active one) set by default, then make additional profiles sets purchasable for 600 gems, and make this change Account Wide (so all my characters will have 2 profiles sets if I bought 1 profile set, this is to prevent waste of gems in case you delete that specific character and create a new one).

What do you think about this?

I would love to have such feature.
I wanted to suggest something similar since a long time. Its a tedious task to change all armors, weapons and traits every time you want to go from PvE build to WvW.

About it being a Gem Store item, I am not sure. I think such a necessary feature should be provided for free. Atleast one extra “profile” should be available for free.

I really don’t know why they got rid of the build setup from Gw1. Obviously it would need tweaking but it was a great feature. Having to sift through screenshots to find a previous build I’ve used is painful.
