ok for the players who only know english or another language they see another language they cant understand so…

basically have a language preference in settings as the language you speak then
when another language is detected in chat or party chat it will show with an underline
simply click the underline and it should translate to the language you selected

This isn’t a bad idea, but slang is a terrible thing to translate ^^;

FFXI had a great translate function, you could auto translate some short phrases into any language. Was really helpful.

yeah it should work out this way even players who dont speak english can understand us

Yeah, that was a great one as the phrases were pre-translated instead of having some system trying to interpret. You would select something from a list – like “yes” or “no” – and it would be shown to everyone in their own language.
