Explanation: I’d like to be able to transmute accessories to keep the name and icon. I’m talking accessories of the same slot type.

Reason: I wanna be able to wear my character’s wedding band ring, using a plain ring icon. I also wanna wear the karma spiked moa collar from Queensdale cause my ranger’s kinda… like that

Justification: I realize accessories don’t have skins. But that makes the job even easier – it’s just changing the item’s name and icon! It also gives us another sink for those pretty useless basic transmutation stones you get 5 dozen for before your character hits 80, and a reason for RP players to actually seek/buy fine transmutation stones when you do… It allows the option that wasn’t there before at all, and the only market it benefits is the gem store. Everyone wins for this relatively simple extra function.

I agree. I have a pet rock that I would like to transmute into an exotic. Atm I just keep my rock in my bag. They can’t expect me to abandon it

I also agree. I’d like to see my engineer with a lot of potions on her!

I want a tiara for my thief! And a kitten mini-pet!

I agree too.
This is maybe silly suggestion, but why not.
We grind so long time for only cool skin legendary and other expensive skins.
Inventory (=gear window) icons are quite the same.
somebody (like me) definitely will want change icon of items
for better looks and for practical use.

for looks : There’s so many cool icon trinkets include low level karma trinkets.
for now They are just trash junky, but if we can change items,
They will be great resouces.
People can make their own originality and identity at H panel.

for practical use :
It will help you recognize items quick when you change gears between battle.
for example, red icon for berserker dps, blue icon for knight stat defence,
like crafted item’s color or by your own standard.
whereas.. nowdays since we use various ascended gears,
we should remember 10 item’s icon to change trinkets only.
if you have several trait set and few toons,
you need to remember few dozens of icons for quick change between battle.
It’s very painful.
(yes even though, for now, right click and drop menu is better way to change trinket)

so I suggest “Icon Change Transmute Stone”
not only for trinkets but also all gears.
Intercross is optional, I’m not sure about that, maybe that’s not necessary
but that will make things more fun.
