Transmutation stones are a nicely popular function, but they’re a little too difficult or tedious to get ahold of. Either one has to buy them (I can’t, I’m broke) or spend hours farming them from city exploration (boring).

I think one of two things should happen:

1) Create a new kind of TStone: Endless. It never gets used up in the process of transmuting two items. This item would be understandably exotic, or, if it could be bought on the gem store, expensive and account bound.

2) Make regular and fine TStones saleable on the TP so people who don’t use them or don’t want them can buy them without spending real money or farming their butts off.

IMO, everlasting Basic T-stones should be a mystic forge item. Everlasting Fine T-stone shouldn’t exist.

Why? Because no one is going to use basic T-stones anyways. It is insanely easy to level up.

I disagree that it should be sellable on the TP. Otherwise, Anet will nerf T-stones drop on daily in order to make money.

Transmutation stones are for people who have the luxury to worry about aesthetics.

Since you’re broke, the game is designed to only leave you with two options:

1. Save up gold and buy gems to buy Fine Transmut. stones.
2. Go without them. Too bad, so sad.

To keep the game afloat, ANet needs to find a balance on players willing to spend money and players who won’t / can’t. They can’t change it just because you’re unhappy that you can’t.

I wouldn’t mind a Mystic Forge Recipe to upgrade Basic Transmutation Stones into Fine ones (As players tend to get ALOT of Basic Transmutation Stones which only serve to eat bank space at the moment.)

Something Like
50 Basic Stones + Any Booster + Fine Transmutation Stone + Philosipher’s Stone = 5 Fine Transmuation Stones

(Similar to upgrading a T5 Material to T6)
