Please for the love of God, give us an option to turn off combat music! It’s by far the biggest immersion breaker for me. I hate listening to the same battle track over and over, and I don’t even want battle tracks! I hated it in Guild Wars and I absolutely loathe in Guild Wars 2! Literally, every time I charge in to battle I get combat music! Please just give us an option to turn it off!

You can leave meta event tracks playing, but give us an option to turn off combat music kitten

This is exactly that: a workaround. It doesn’t solve the problem. If I were to add a custom playlist, I now lose all of the built-in in-game music:

We need to have a way to stop the trigger of the combat music. It’s so annoying and I don’t want to have to make an entire custom playlist. There should be a way to turn this mechanic off period. I seriously hate going into combat because of it.
