First things first; toggle camera movement. It is a very simple little feature that I really don’t understand why it wasn’t in a release. It isn’t necessary of course, but is –to a lot of players- a valuable convenience. Having to hold down right click to move the camera during a hectic fight isn’t hard, but still, I think a lot of us with rather have the option to not need to at all.
You could do this by making it an enabled check box in the game options, so you use right click to enable/disable camera movement, or you could just add it in as an unbound hot key option. Either way this shouldn’t take long to bang out and patch in. Maybe….five minutes of programing and a half hour to test? This sort of thing can be hammered out in a lunch break.
Again it isn’t necessary by any stretch, but would be very convenient and a welcome addition to players like me who do things like…just an example…rebind the right mouse button to dodge. (My mouse, a Razor Deathadder I got from the NCSoft store a while back, allows me to reprogram the buttons in separate profiles, so I can do that.) So yeah…please?

The second thing, and the main reason I am typing this out, is some form of visual indicator of where the mouse it pointing at all times, especially when moving the camera. I like to know where my camera is pointing, and there are lots of ways to do this. You could use a standard crosshair type thing, a simple dot in the center of the screen, or even go lazy and just make it so the standard arrow pointer doesn’t disappear when you move the camera.
Alternatively you could have a “fade in” crosshair that only shows up when you mouse over a targetable character, this way it doesn’t clutter up the screen when not in use. Another idea would just use the already existing NPC glow effect; when you mouse over a character they glow like they already do when targeted. Nothing major there. Although that won’t work with ground targeted stuff when fast-cast is active…anyway I’d just like some way to know where my camera is actually pointing when I move it.
This is also a very simple little convenience feature that a lot of players won’t even notice or care about, especially if it is a toggle. But would be absolutely adored by players like me who do things like…again; just an example…turn off auto-targeting, target promotion, and rebind the left mouse button to attack….
