I would like to suggest the developers in creating a Personal Note System in the game UI. Nothing too fancy, just a place where you could write and store notes in-game, instead of having to tab out and type on notepad or open it from the desktop..
Maybe you could even add it to the in-game Mail or something like that.

It’s nothing super important, just a simple idea to save us time and would actually be an helpful feature.

That would be useful, could replace the stack of index cards on my desk with all my notes. Would be even better if I could add a tag with a note to my map.

I really, really, really want a notation system for the map. With it we could note harvesting fields, chest locations, etc.

I don’t think it would be a cheap mechanic. It would actually make it similar to cartography in real life. You discovered something in the world that you may want to revisit in the future? Make a notation. It would create a meta-game for people who love exploring.

I find myself lost a lot of time. I see a champion and I say “Oh, I’ll kill it later” and I forgot where it is

Yeah, I’m always seeing things I want to come back to, and then forgetting where it was.

With the exception of node farms nodes tend to move about any time there’s a server reset, so using notes for those would really quickly get cluttered, except maybe like in Frostgorge Sound to keep track of common Ori spawn locations as a starting point.

can fully support this, some kind of ingame notepad would be nice (and since you can already link poi’s, wp’s etc in chat would be the sam here so could keep at least approximate locations on the map there too that way.
