I’m making this thread to hopefully shine some more light on being bound to a weapon. If a dev has commented on something like this can someone please let me know because i want to see what they think. Instead of just complaining about how I hate being bound to a weapon i spent countless hours on (Sunrise) here are some possible ideas that arena net could use.
Guild Wars 1 version- In guild wars one you could customize your weapon for 15% damage and it binds it to you. I like this idea and i wish they kept it. I would have a weapon that i used for 15% extra dmg and then my weapons that i liked to show off (the more exensive ones) and i could sell them or put them on another character.
Asuran Un-Binding Agent- Create a gem store product that can un-bind a piece of armor or weapon.
Make everything account bound- Everything about guild wars 2 is about the least amount of restrictions, and i love that. When crafting my legendary everything was account bound. I was able to craft different things across all my characters in order to make the pieces i needed. I feel that my legendary shouldnt be bound to one specific character.
again, I just made this post to hopefully find out some more information about what arena-net thinks about this topic.
Keep up the awesome work though A-Net, the game is still awesome even if this doesnt change!
