Just an Idea….

I recently got my Guardian to 80. Ive been using my Warrior to play most of the game and maybe spent close to 100g buying her Equipment. I have no issues getting the initial gear for my Guardian (AH GS+Hammer) but eventually I will want to try out different builds. Since I already have the Build that I will play for my Warr and the equipment, I have a ton of Swords, Shields, Accessories and armor left over from my Experimenting Days. Can we get a Gem Store item that will un soulbound items at least so I can have my other chars use them? Maybe adjust the number of items needed to unsoulbound them based on rarity? (ie Rare 1 item, Exotic 3, Ascended 6 and Legendary 10) That way I can freely pass around stuff between my chars and Anet makes some money off of it. Any thoughts? Or is this a bad idea?

Wow, that is quite the idea! One thing I’d stipulate is that the un-soulbinding make the item account-bound, so that it isn’t just a way to resell expensive gear, but instead is only a way to make your items into heirlooms for your other characters.

This would be a good idea. I think getting all equipment is generally easy, up to legendary.. If they had some one time use thing that cost a significant (but not too significant XD) amount of gems to make legendary items Account bound, but soul bound on use then it would make leveling an alt that would use that same legendary far more worth while.
