thepoint of it being soulbound on use is that you cant just use it on all characters, it would be too much for people to be able to re-use their unbreakable tools when others have spent their hard earned cash on a tool for every toon, it’d be unfair on them. plus, there is no monthly fees and no purchasable expansions, arenanet have to make money somehow, be glad its like this

But if your already willing to spend the money/gems, jut wait for them to come back around again. That wasn’t the first time they were in the gem store and it most likely won’t be the last.

they may not be the exact same ones, but mod likely there’ll be other skins with other effects, e.g. a wind/tornado pickaxe, a branded axe or mordremoth sickle
