I can see, why dyes aren’t account bound but soulbound. Otherwise dye packs wouldn’t really be worth the gems.

Instead of buying dye packs (gambling) I would really love to buy a more reliable option from the gem store, i. e. unlock account wide dyes. Any dye that I have unlocked on any of my characters would be available to all others (merge). Now and for any future dye I’m unlocking.

I would probably be willing to spend 50-100 bucks on this feature. Once!

I would pay to make all of my dyes account wide. I foolishly consumed some I would never use on my main char.

I agree there should be some way to make dyes acount bound. Even if it was like pay 200 gems to make x amount of dyes account bound or something. I wouldn’t care how they did it. As it is right now I have all 5 of my character slots used and I play 3 of them at least once a day. Even just unlocking every dye for each of those 3 could take years or tons and tons of gold.

$50-100? absolutely not. Besides, dyes are a source of income gem wise. Wouldn’t benefit both parties.

Let’s see what happens. There is a tendency of making stuff account bound that used to be soulbound. Latest example are the gathering tools.
