I have 105 unspent skill points, and Im sure the rest of you have the same or more. Give us something to spend all these points on. I mean you have all these skill points spread throughout Tyria, but now we just hold on to these things for no reason at all.

You can spend them on things. That npc by the forge sells things for skill points. I wanna say you might be able to buy a couple other things, like obsidian shards with skill points too somewhere else…? But I may be getting that mixed up with something else.

Eldritch scroll requires 50SP to buy.

there should be better usage for unspent skill points.
Anet should increase the item list of thigns that we can buy with skill points.
For example:

Add to the list some special weapon armor sets > Mystic Armor – Set for example, each piece costing 100 points

Add to the list ascended earrings, costing some money, xx laurels and 50 Sp instead of 50 ectos, or 75 SP, if 50 isnt equal enough to the 50 ectos

Add to the list icy runestones for SP, so that you don’t have to waste 100 Gold just to get enough for your legendary, but could instead buy them with SP

Add to the list the past ticket item skins for like 1000 skill points or so, so that people at least have somehiow still a chance to get those weapon skins if they like them very much, so that they anre’t just wasted developers time for just 2 weeks…

Add bags of T6 materials for SP

Add various kinds of event items regarding to the current LS eveents for SP, for example currently those fortuna items that get you fortuna scraps for those bot4w backpiece items/ helms

Add bags of gems for SP

Theres so many more things, we could buy with SP to make them more useful.

Or for the sake of this game, just implement more utility, heal and elite skills and let them unlock us with SP !!!

Yea I have 80 SPs unspent and it seems like all I can buy with them are Legendary ingredients. If I’m going to keep attaining these naturally as I play, they should be useful for types of players.

you can buy wvw superior blueprints with them and also certain exotics need them to be made.

I think the things that skill points already buy are plenty. Icy runestones especially wouldn’t make sense, since Legendaries already have two dedicated skill point sinks (200 for the bloodstone shard, and another ~160+ for mystic clovers). Also, Icy Runestones are the only part of the legendary that actually MUST be bought with gold, so it serves a thematic purpose too.

And really, we don’t need another incentive for people to farm CoF P1.
