The Black Lion Key drop rate could use a bump up since too many people are getting way more Black Lion Chest drops than keys. I have 90 Black Lion Chest and I get at minimum one or two keys every two or three days where I get minimum three Black Lion Chest a day.

Why do you think key drop rates are so low and chest drop rates are so high?

They’re baiting us into paying gems

I am now level 64, and have never had a key drop.

Firstly you usually get keys for achievement rewards. Secondly you can also buy keys with gems (which is actually the intended usage).

Keys drop? I am level 80, full exotics, and the only place I have ever gotten keys was as a reward in my personal story.

They are intended to be a pay for feature. Can’t take any more bread out of B2P game’s mouth.

I actually have more keys than chests on my Mesmer. I keep getting chest drops on my alt but it seems like a really rare occasion when it happens on my main.

agree, tonnes of chests, not alot of keys, I have had 1 from they personal story, opened a chest and another key was inside luckily, but no more since.
Not sure what to do with the 97 chests atm…… :/

Gem store is only a time saver short cut and is optional and Anet has said you can get these things in game without buying from the gem store.
