Guild Wars 2

Hello everybody,

so I won’t complain against the T3 cultural armor (which is disgus… woops, I said I didn’t :x), but I want to do a real and serious request :

One armor set is 800 gems (which is 10€/$) or… a looooot of gold. I bought Kasmeer’s staff for 600 gems (~7,5€/$) and then big surprise : I can use it only once O_O"

So for such a price, isn’t that possible to give us the possibility to use it as many time as we want (as the achievment rewards) ?

Besides, if the future items are only skins already present in the game but with just the addition of Hunger Games’ flames, and ruining all the efforts of players, 10 bulks is too much for only one utilisation. Oh sh**, I still did it :/

I agree. I would like to see things return to how they worked in GW1 regarding purchased appearance changers and festival rewards. I find it disappointing that when I buy an appearance based item from the store I have to pick which one of my characters will get to use it. The same goes with the Shatterer wings reward from the Dragon Bash. In Guild Wars 1 there were festival hat and costume npcs that enabled you to get the purchased item or festival reward for each of your characters. For festival items in GW2 you’re just out of luck – can’t get more than one. And with costume items, it’s too much of a pain to keep things in storage so you can swap between characters, and buying the same thing for ten different characters is just too expensive. I’d honestly be more interested in buying more items if I could then choose to duplicate the item onto additional characters. In general I love the game play and feel it is very well done. I just feel the store has become too costly for accessorizing multiple characters and the only-one-festival-reward accessory is unfortunate. The achievement points Zenith and Vambrace skins is a step in the right direction. They work exactly the way I’m talking about, so I know it can be done in GW2.

I agree things like that are the reason I don’t buy gems and I don’t farm when I play so gold is not an option. I hope I don’t get in trouble for saying this but cut anet some slack on the gem store they are not really in charge of it ncsoft hired and appointed the person who I think has complete control over the gem store. I enjoy the game even with its faults but the gem store practices are one thing I would love to see change so I could support anet.

Agreed. They should add those items to achievment rewards once bought and you should be able to just take as many as you want.
