I like that you can switch stats on Legendaries.

But you cannot switch the sigil without buying a new one and discardig the old one. Even if you could remove them over and over again it would be annoying.

What would be great for legendaries the ability to put a legendary sigil in it. It only fits into legendaries and allows you to choose which sigil it represents. So you can switch your weapon type fully.

Now when it comes to armor – and legendary armors will come for sure – the runes are even more important for the synergy of a build than sigils.

I currently carry multiple sets of armors with me (full berseker, PvE, PvP, WvW, High Level Fractals). Some of them are nearly the same just for difference occasions. And most of the times it’s just the runes.

For armor this is a must when they go legendary.

This is a pure convenience item. Not better stats. Flexible.

Just time gate it a bit (not very much, about 14 days should be ok) and mats requirement of a good infusion or something like this. Remember you already need to have a legendary to upgrade it, so you already did a lot of grinding and should not be punished.

This would make legendaries (as we can craft precursors in the future) more desireable for gameplay instead for just a skin I don’t even care for in a lot of places.

I stopped craftig ascended weapons after my main weapon. Just to annoying to grind for the mats (talking fragments and dragonite). For ascened armor? I will only do a WvW set.

But for a flexible legendary I would go all the way replacing more weapons over time I often use.

Also legendary armors will not differentiate themselves by skins but by flexibility.

Legendary Armor Precursos? No thank you. Upgrade an ascended set. So basically infuse from ascended to legendary, then upgrade the legendary slot to be flexible as well. That would be something really really nice for people who actually use different sets.

Also I am pretty sure that precursor crafting beside a lot of grind will require to have created ascended weapons before anyway. So it woul match what is about to come.

All in all some thought need to put into it. But I would like to see something in the regards of flexible sigils and runes. If you like you can even add one more upgrade like flexible infusions (I’d like to switch betwen infusions WvW and Fractals without having to create another set…).

Some people may say gear grind. No it is not. The stats are the same. Having multiple sets will still be cheaper. As said pure convenience.

I would personally love to see this, but I don’t think it would ever happen. If it does happen I suppose I will have to get that quip pistol, I truly hate it but I already have FSP and the convenience would be worth it.

And while at it now add trait saving slots to switch between builds and I would be a happy camper. You can easily charge 600-800 gems for a trait-save-slot. People will go after it like crazy.

As said for weapons sigils are not that important for my builds. Depends on how precursor crafting will work out. But even if not I would craft 2 or 3 weapons more and transmute my current skins over the legendary ones. I hate Frostfang, love my Fused Axes.

But as we do not have legendary armors yet and runes are more important here for th synergy of a build they should be just for that convenience only.

Forget the flashy skins here. Requires more work than the backback-of-the-week anyway. So pls. don’t waste time on something flashy but instead provide more convenience.
