Adding excitement to combat, adding special effect to burning condition, and adding unique effects to Guardian virtues.

Virtues:

Virtue of Justice
40 seconds*
Passive: Cause burning to one foe every 5th attack.
Active*: You and 5 nearby allies inflict burning on target foe and cause an area of effect blast of light at target foe’s location dealing damage to the target foe and up to 5 foes adjacent to the target.

Virtue of Resolve
60 seconds*
Passive: Regenerates health every second.
Active*: Heal yourself and up to 5 nearby allies for a moderate amount of health. For X seconds, every time you and affected allies receive direct damage, the ally that takes damage receives healing equal to a small percentage of the amount of damage sustained.

Virtue of Courage
60 seconds*
Passive: Grants aegis every 40 seconds.
Active*: For X seconds, you and up to 5 nearby allies take a small percentage of reduced direct damage. When this effect ends, each ally affected receives aegis.

Burning (condition):

+ Deals damage every 1 second. Foes suffering from the burning condition will cause direct damage to up to 5 adjacent foes with each pulse of burning damage. This effect has direct damage equal to 50% of the damage caused by burning to the original foe.
+ Alternatively, burning could have its functionality changed to: For every X seconds the target suffers from burning the burning damage is increased by X% up to a max of X%.
+ A second alternative could be to change burning functionality to: Reapplications of burning to a foe already suffering from the burning condition inflict a debuff on the target foe called Smoldering. Every reapplication of burning applies 1 stack of Smoldering. Once the target receives X stacks of Smoldering, the stacks of Smoldering are consumed and the target foe suffers a penalty to their attack/skill activation speed for X seconds.

Chain skills:
+ Make all weapon skills into chains for every profession.
+ All skills with chain/follow-up skills remain unaffected. Ex: “autoattack” chains.
+ All weapon skills without follow-up skills will receive one to increase combat/skill diversity.
+ Example of new skill: Rising Faith.
+ Rising Faith: Follow-up skill to Leap of Faith (Guardian, Greatsword #3).
+ Deliver a spinning uppercut that hits up to 5 nearby foes. Foes hit by Rising Faith are inflicted with X stacks of vulnerability for X seconds.

Symbols:

+ Symbols now act as “auras” that follow the Guardian. In a sense, this makes symbols “mobile” instead of stationary.
+ Alternatively, symbols could remain stationary, but any ally or foe within or entering into the symbol’s area of effect are now inflicted with Essence of Light. Essence of Light continues to affect the inflicted target with the symbol’s damage and boon effects even if the target runs out of the area of effect. In a sense, once an ally or foe walks into the symbol’s AoE they will continue to receive the full effect of the symbol regardless of whether they stay in the symbol or walk out. Essence of Light pulses once every second just like the actual symbol.

MOBILE SYMBOLS!!! why didnt i think of this before. kitten that sounds awesome. thumbs way up for the virtue workover, accept i think the passive aegis should proc way more often (10sec) and the active needs aegis applied immediately for sure. i can tell you are a gw1 player from the new virtues. didnt read into the burning thing, but i think the condition is fine as is. the chain skill idea is interesting but will never happen because of the incredible amount of work that would be. well hey one can hope.
