I find that 75% of the suggestion forum posts fit one of the following descriptions:

1) Strange suggestions that I personally hope never to see
2) Suggestions that are obvious or repeated inumerable times
3) Suggestions that are already publicly known to be in the works
4) Unhelpful complaints, especially about any changes that have already been made.

So, my suggestion is a voting system. Players get to vote thumbs up or thumbs down on each suggestion.

Suggestions that get sufficient thumbs ups will appear in a frame on the side of the screen, so we can easily navigate the most popular suggestions.

Finally, players will receive a Suggestion Rating, which will be displayed in a collumn of the forum next to the post title. This way, people will be encouraged to make their suggestions a little more professional or at the least understandable.

Any opinions on such a system?

They already have a +1 button. All they really need to do is

a) Add a -1 button.
b) List a breakdown of the voting statistics.

The problem is , in no time the first pages would be static mostly and no new ideas would be seen by most players.

My suggestion is to go past this idea. Implement this AND an order option , so we can see by most voted AND by recent added.

This away both new ideas and good ones get attention.
