Way to check other players' Fractals level?
gw2 did a complete 180 with the fractals release.. ^this post proves it
A janky way of checking at the moment to is stand next to the portal, and everytime someone new enters your party, try entering the dungeon to see the maximum scale. If that scale is lower than what you expected, then you know the new person that joined isn’t at the expected scale.

I had someone try to “sneak” into the group and force us to run a lower level fractal yesterday. In the end we had to actually kick him because he wouldn’t leave after he was discovered (according to him, we were apparently the rude ones for wanting to progress.)
For now, we kind of have to go by manysong’s method, but I agree that we need a way to check a person’s rank once you zone into the dungeon, at least, if not from anywhere. I’m glad they at least made the fractal level clearly and constantly visible on the interface.
We should also add a system that rates players with a numerical value based on the current level of their gear. A “gear score”, if you will. This will help keep the riff raff out of our dungeon groups
I agree with the fractals thing but not the clowns asking for gear scores. Ive seen people in greens outperform those in exo’s many times. But since they were friends and guildies it wasnt such a big deal. But basing everything on gear proves to me how bad some people are that they have to rely on gear alone.
This is not so much a problem with the game, as it is a problem with people. All in all Fractals have hit the community bad and split it up in some ways.
I get that people that have already done certain levels of the dungeon want to still proceed further. I also get that some people get desperate in getting just the low levels of it.
Perhaps this could also help those at lower level fractals? To identify those that are also still there? Perhaps it could be benefitting for most people.
The gear thing mentioned is idiotic and should not be added.
