We STILL need a wardrobe system!
Something to manage all my skins would be a very welcome thing yes.
Also, it would be very useful if I can read in the description to which character it belongs instead of only reading ‘soulbounded’
Hi, i’ve found this discussion on reddit and haven’t seen much discussion about it in the suggestions forums which is a shame.

With all the new rewards from events/living story and now the announcement of even more stuff coming as rewards for achievements… we need some sort of wardrobe type system more than ever. We’re approaching a year now and no sign of any improvements for this. I know this keeps coming up, but maybe we need to start making some more noise about it so they finally listen?

I really agree with this, Guildwars 2 has little to no power creep, and is based around the idea of skinning and transmuting your items to increase your looks.
It disturbs me that we haven’t heard anything about somekind of wardrobe system (e.g. pvp locker, rift, WoW transmogrification)
It wouldn’t even require the removal of transmutation stones.
Many of the suggestions in that discussion point towards receiving skins and/or turning items into skins. Those skins would then be stored in a locker/wardrobe.
You can access them on your account, withdraw them and take them with you like any other skins. But to apply them you would need a fine transmutation stone.
The skin itself could still be sitting in your locker ( like the HoM skins) seeing as they’re accountbound. Or maybe you get them back when you apply a new skin ( new skin + transmutation stone => old skin gets swapped out so you can deposit it)
Now you might say, but ‘but now every character could use that skin’ Well you can also do that now on live by transmuting your skin on a white item It’s just a big hassle compared to the possible wardrobe solution. Thus the rarity of an item isn’t being devalued at all.
At any rate there isn’t much of a downside to these suggestions, they would also boost the usage of fine transmutation stones, thus possibly increasing the income generated from the gemstore.
