We need more storage space.
The “plan” is you buy it.
That’s why they keep filling our storage space with more and more junk we think we should be collecting.
You can buy additional bag slots on each of your toon.

I think you both misunderstood.
He has all the bank tabs bought, it’s just there’s so much junk in this game that even THAT is not enough.
Every armor set is 6 slots used, and with 5-8+ chars, where do you put them all after the bank/bags are filled ?
He stated he’s willing to buy more, Anet just stops you by limiting the amount you can purchase.
I believe there were some lines data-mined some time ago which implied that more slots will become buyable, I’ll see if I can find it.

That would be nice, I only truly use 1 character and even at that I find my bank space very limiting ( even If I have 7/9 chars on my account. )
I think they limit it to discourage people hanging on to everything. If nothing else it’s bad for the economy when people do that, you need to keep good and money moving around.
But it’s also not a good habit for players, once you get into keeping everything you end up not wanting to use your boosters or whatever ‘just in case’ you could use them another time.
If you haven’t already you could buy some extra bag slots and 20 (or even 18) slot bags for your characters and use those to store some stuff. But I’d also recommend sorting through it and being really strict about what you actually need to keep. Don’t hang on to things just in case they’re useful one day. If you’re not using it then get rid of it.

You can buy extra character slots or use unused ones, and use them as mules. They can’t hold soulbound items but they can hold everything else. Personal guild banks give extra storage but can’t hold account or soul bound items. In Guild Wars 1 storage was pretty limited also. I had a number of mules to hold extra junk.
They add at least one new currency with every update…how many hundreds of different currencies are in the game now?
In Anets world you can never reuse a currency to pay for something different. Someone needs to explain exactly what the word currency means…
GW2 can’t be far off having more different currencies in it than exist on planet Earth, its totally INSANE!
ANET … pls allow for more storage space in our personal bank. I have all character classes in this game. I collect a lot of stuff for them. Different armor sets and jewelry and weapons for the type of build I am currently running. Having 7 “storage tables” for all my toons is just not enough. I don’t mind paying for them … just give me the space …
Here is the deal my friend,
Create a guild and within a few weeks you can have 250 slots space or a couple of days for 50 slots
As Astral said, this method for non-soul nor account bounded stuff
Mule and guild vault can’t be used for soul/accountbound items and with all “living story items”(Marjory book, Sanctum model…) it feels really stupid to have such low limitation in bank storage anyway. It’s an easy way for anet to get more money.

Slight exaggeration there….
1) The OP already specified he need storage space for armor and weapons, not currencies.
2) Since the wallet update the only currency that takes up inventory space is Pristine Fractal Relics (if you count those) so I’m not sure how it’s still a problem for you.
3) Unless you count crafting materials (which can be stored in their own tab free of charge) and tokens with one specific purpose like the voting slips from Cutthroat Politics they rarely add new ones. And you shouldn’t be keeping those after the event has finished anyway because they have no purpose.

I have most of the Living Story stuff, both the ‘useless’ things like the journal and sanctum mode and skins I haven’t used yet like the dragon bash helm and shattered wings and molten gauntlets.
I’m planning to get an extra bank tab for them when they next go on sale, but only because I haven’t got any extra ones yet, just the one you start with. (And that could be 1/2 empty if I remembered to use boosters and guild banners more often.)
Honestly other than people like the OP who want a large variety of weapons and armor I have a hard time imagining what people put in their bank that takes up so much space.

It would be great if they added a separate personal storage for soulbound items.

You can use mules for account bound items. I have one mule and that’s all it’s carrying.

Yes mule have issue only with soulbound items. The point is if you keep an item it’s to use it even rarely but to do that you need to have it handy(bags or bank). Oh and why the hell whould I need mule in a “next gen mmo”? Particularly when they sell bank slot for cash, why is there even a limit(some people have 40 chars so why not 40 bank slots?)? It’s 2013, the game is out for one year now and yet these kind of detail are still an issue to many and make it feels like half-baked…
I too would also like to have more bank tabs.
Having a separate personal tab for each character, accessed by only that specific character, possibly allow for expansion of this for extra personal tabs, would be great for soul bound stuff. It gets cluttered in the bank trying to remember who is the owner of the soul bound stuff. I have a few pieces of gear for whatever I’m playing for my characters.
I would also like to have my crafting storage be increased to at least 1000 instead of only holding 250. I like to hold on to a decent supply of mats for my other characters. 250 really doesn’t go very far for the raw materials and some recipes take quite a few processed materials and making a full set of gear can take quite a lot of stuff.
Some items such as doubloons don’t have a specific storage spot so I need to save such stuff for a legendary.
Yes I can use mules but I’d rather play those characters than have them set for storage and would just like convenient access to my stuff so that I don’t have to remember which mule has what.
why not make litteral tabs like tab 1 in one section say starting section one tab is general another is armor and so on and goes down the top edge. and thus also make bank expansions better or worth more.
You can buy it, sorta. Buy an extra char slot and make it a mule. Thats what i did back in gw1 days when i had 1000’s of ectos and random stuff
hard enough to make them cry, not just rivers but oceans."
