We need rarity frames A.net look at picture !
Can I haz some of that gold?
We need rarity frames to identify look at a glance, specially now with so much loot we getting most of the time my bags are full !

Buy bag slots. 300g gets you 20 expansions which means 400 slots… though you wouldn’t be able to use them on a single character.
Getting rid of all that junk in your inventory would also help.

Um, not really. There are many, MANY types of organizational bags in the game that will rearrange your items for you. What you’re looking for are the bags from the Fractals like http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/20_Slot_Fractal_Rare_Equipment_Box That bag takes all rare quality items and sticks it in there first (if not full). There’s one for exotic gear and uncommon gear too. If you have all 3 of them, your bags self-organize for you.
You may have many collectable items that you don’t want to deposit into your collections tabs. That’s when useful things like Invisibility Bags come in handy simply because they don’t allow collectables to be removed automatically (and they don’t even show up at vendors either).
P.S. Added note: Get bigger bags, buy more bag slots (using some gold, if you’re too cheap to drop $5 on this game).
I would enjoy rarity frames. Annoys me hunting through all those Greens for white/blues to salvage. Eventually the fractal bags overflow too.

A break in communication, maybe?
OP is suggesting the rarity of an item show up as a color coded frame around their inventory sprite. This would be helpful if you like to save your greens to sell or put in the mystic forge and do whatever with blues and whites, you can open up your inventory and quickly salvage things without needing to hover your mouse over it to tell what it is.
I could support this idea.
I’m very much supporting this idea.
Something similar came out as mod to Torchlight 2 and it made inventory so much more clear.
Rarity frames are ingame now, awesome.
My suggestion came to life in the game I’m super happy, and proves a.net does listen to good ideas when they make sense.
inventory options, the gear at the right corner of inventory and select show rarity frames.
That’s really great, and really speeds up the salvage process… Congrats on the idea.
Yes please even if they only showed up when we hit the double click for salvaging. Since I use my copper-fed on all blues and greens and my mystic on rares it would be so helpful.
Edit: I just noticed this was in game and was going back in to change my post. Not sure when it happened but it is amazing!!!

I think this would be nice. Mostly because there are a few exotic weapons that have standard blue/green icons, and it can get confusing. But there are the nice fractal sorting bags if you need them. I buy all greens, then 1 invisible, 1 rare, and sometimes 1 exotic bag

Quoted, because the posters above me seem to be missing the fact that this is in the game now.
And it’s pretty cool!

Seems to have been a stealth update in yesterday’s patch, or, at least, I must have overlooked it in the patch notes if it’s in there.

Well fantastic! Thanks for the tip.

Absolutely not “needed”, but it sure is for some people who’d like to have something like that a nice comfort “option”, that could be activatable/deactivatable in the options Menu
