9) Free items (for no logical reason, other then op thinks they should be entitled to them)

Yes I realize the search feature is not that great. If it ever worked. But honestly DO we need keep getting spammed with the same post over and over in this forum. Honestly I understand why Anet never peaks in here. Half the suggestions are the same the other half make no sense or would be extremely difficult to implement.

BTW feel free to add your own to the list.

The problem is for me, the Search button doesn’t work at all. I can hit enter until the cows come home and nothing happens.

Most people will go back a page or two, few will go farther, and few will just check that page, and few will just not look at all.

Also people might have searched and didn’t find an post on a subject that matched their solution to a problem. Or they see a previous post just turned into flame wars.

That being said, people should make more of an effort to at least go back 3-5 pages and read at least the first few and the last few posts before just making a new thread and only post a new thread if no thread had a similar proposal and/or didn’t end in a flame war.

1) actually I see one of the original ones pop up quite frequently, they just get buried fast
2) Weapon swapping for these classes is a bad idea because of how their class currently functions and most people have accepted this. However, adding a larger diversity of weapons and weapon skills to choose from is the new discussion, and a much more feasible one. I saw one going around just the other day (also several in the specific class forums with the main idea of more weapons then various ones about weapon ideas)
3) I still don’t understand why this is such an issue….we have mailboxes that we can access anywhere ….I mean c’mon, it’s free storage until you’re ready to get it. If you’re concerned about selling over the mail, that’s what the TP is for. Stop listing things to “sell to a buy now buyer” and list it for what you want for it, there’s no difference between that and trading directly. They’re only gonna pay what they think is fair. Anything else can use the mailbox just fine.
4) This one i agree with, I saw a few way back when, and occasionally pop up. Needs to be addressed and all of the previous posts condensed. I can see how it might possibly negatively affect the dye market, but I don’t really have any ideas to offer on it. Maybe all common dyes can be account bound and uncommons and rares be soulbound to at least keep the dye market afloat.
5) This is what legendaries are for. I know right now getting multiple ascendeds for various stat combos is painstaking, but over time it will get easier, just like crafting for exotics used to be tough early in the game, but didn’t take it long before people were pumping them out like they were common rarity.
6) They’ve already said they are bumping up support roles (changes are coming in patches within the year), but there doesn’t need to be a “healing class” in a game that does not use the prehistoric trinity system
7) Not touching this, too controversial lol. I play both a thief and non-thieves so I know both sides of the coin and it’s too risky

11) trying to shame the devs into giving player “x” what they want….idk where these kids were raised, but in no reality does shaming people ever get positive results
12) Complaining about something in one thread then going to the opposite side of the forum and talking it up like it was the best idea in the world….STOP THAT
13) Open world dueling (kind of falls under the whole “make it a prettier version of WoW” thing, but that’s not necessarily unique to that game either
14) Search feature for this forum is broken, in fact it quit working for me entirely recently. I type in something to search for and get….zero response. Wonderful.
I know I had a few more but I saw something shiny so I have to go chase it down

So, just to get this straight, your BIG suggestion is to stop making suggestions…in the suggestions forum?
Could’ve saved yourself a lengthy post and just asked them to fix the search engine.
Anyhoo, didn’t you realize, people don’t actually ‘read’ forums – i’ve seen topics like this before…

About the mounts. Hello pplz we already have them and they cost 250 gems. They may not be the moving across the map faster mount you want but in my opinion they are better. For those of you who say those aren’t mounts well you need to get the broom off your back and start riding it. Also for those of you who say people cant see my armor while im usignthe tunneling tool i say the ground isnt clear nobody going to see your armor anyways. They are also account bound so what more could you want w/o ruining the game.

That’s just the issue, the people making some of these suggestions don’t realize that what they want to do will ruin what GW2 is. The mechanics are build around certain things, and the playstyle is built around certain mechanics, and the content is built around certain playstyles . . . but they want to see WoW mixed with Neverwinter Online, mixed with Guild Wars One and a hint of some hardcore E-Sports so they can wave their kitten around in other people’s face. The average gamer these days just isn’t what it used to be.
