Weapon Modification - Sharpening
I like the idea of altering your weapons, but I dont think, that this would work pretty well.
e.g. Look at s/p or p/p thief. If they would apply bleed with every hit on #3, this would probably end up in an rly heavy / easy way of stacking rly high amounts of bleed.
Or GS-mesmer
If Mesmer would be able to aply bleed with every hit of spartial surge, this would mean: 3 bleeds (with every autoattack!) and additionally an almost infinite amount of bleeds you could apply with you clons. (3 bleeds for every autoattack + 1 bleed on every krit).
At the end, I think in the current meta, where conditions are already rly strong, I don’t think, it would be good, to give players even more ways of applying conditions.
ofc this needs to be thought through and planned well. Adding bleeds to every single attack isn’kitten And some attacks could have really short bleeds that wear off quickly and prevents simple stacking.
Spellcaster enchantments that I had in mind could have torment, burning or other conditions.
P/P thief unload could add many stacks, but at really short duration, so Sneak Attack would still be the main source of stacking high amounts of bleeds. But at the same time, improve the set to work as a condition set.
S/P to reach nearly same bleed stacks as warrior S/S
I like the thoughts, but I disagree that this would be a good optional thing to add.
Damage builds are allready too popular and would become even more popular.
The only way I could see this work is if the main stats would be taken off weapons. All weapons come with a celestial skillset and you can modify some stats up but that would mean others go down.
This system would mean a lot of people paying for example a beserker weapon would be irritated cause they paid all that money for expensive stats and thats gone. So good idea, if it was implemented from the start.
