Okay we already know first set of skills on your bar is for weapons skills, then you have your healing slot, your normal skill slot, and then your elite skill slot. your weapon skills is determined by your weapon you choose and the last set of skills are more customizable. However I feel the skill choices are lacking, it would be nice to be able to customize your entire skill bar including your weapon skills.

So here is my thought and I thought it was a good idea. What if once you unlock all of the weapon skill slots, be able to use skill points to purchase additional weapon skills to customize your weapon slot with. I figure you could go to your skill page then select weapon tab and view a skill tree for each weapon your class can use and use skill points to purchase skills from the skill tree for your weapons so you can customize your weapon skills giving more skill possibilities. This would not only allow you to have more skills to mess around with granting more build possibilities but also allow the ability to change the arrangement of your weapon skills to fit your needs.

I think it is a good idea. I think the biggest problem is going to be the balancing issues. IF something like this is implemented it would have to be like only one more skill per slot. Being able to adjust the location of your skill would be nice also.

But even limiting it to one per skill slot on a weapon has its problems. The ele has 20 skills per weapon set as it is and if they even did my idea of only one per slot that would give the ele another 20 slots compared to the other professions.

Well you have to think eventually to keep things fresh there bound to add new skills for each class eventually. I figure why not give us more options for weapons skills, be nice to actually feel like i can customize my skill bar completely. Otherwise everyones running around with the same weapon choice for there class cause the build works best for PvE or PvP or what ever the build is for. Not saying everyone runs with the same build but there is popularity to certain weapons and builds for each class. Be nice to add more option of customizing for weapons at least. I know guild wars 1 isn’t the same as 2 but one thing I liked about gw1 that id love to see in 2 is the skill choices. There is so many skill combination choices for the first game be nice to have that again in 2.

I agree, I think each weapon should have at least one other skill per slot so you could mix and match them. It would help the weapons that no one plays become playable. I just see problems with this when it comes to some profession on how to implement it.

I totally agree with more skills whichever way how they do it. Guild Wars 1 was fun because of the variety and abundance of skills. Im sure anyone can agree.
