I’ve just started playing a ranger and I have noticed that when you use a spell that throws the axe like Ricochet, Splitblade or Path of Scars, the axe turns into a default axe skin (like the regular trash item from mobs) instead of keeping the skin your current axe has. I’ve been told it’s the same for the warrior’s greatsword spell as well but I don’t have a warrior to test this out with.
I was really disappointed as I was looking forward to crafting Titan’s Vengeance and a Corrupted Skeggox, but when you turn awesome weapons like those into a crappy default axe on spell use, it kinda blows.
My suggestion is that you guys tweak the animation so the characters actually throw the weapon you are using and not magically poop out a plain weapon. It would make the effort of crafting cool weapon skins so much more rewarding.
In the meantime I’m gonna continue gathering the mats for these axes in the hopes that you guys have given this idea a thought. Still loving the game!
