So, I can’t be the only dude who was mislead when ANet initially described the weekly WvW rewards as “more rewarding than ever” when they were talking about it. In my mind, I was thinking chests containing rare mats, ascended mats, boosters, higher chances of rares and exotics, badges, WXP, essences of luck, and a bunch more stuff.

Instead we get more blues and greens to salvage. Whoopty doo.

Is there any way we can get these weekly chests to actually FEEL more rewarding? Cause if your intention is to get people to continue WvWing after they got their meta achievement done, this isn’t really a good start. The rewards should be encouraging people to do better the next week, so that they can get that extra loot, not just be another way to get salvage fodder.

Please consider this for the next week and the ongoing season of WvW.

I am quite sure that bad reward vs no reward would still classify as improvements.

Sure they could probably be a bit more rewarding, but I am not too fussed. I don’t play WvW for the rewards.

Yeah lol when I got the WvW achievement chests it was the epitome of an anti-climax when I opened them. Blues and greens? Seriously? I can get that from a few player kills… YAWN

WvW rank chests aren’t much better either, I mean yeah they have a decent amount of silver as a reward, but after 312 ranks in WvW, I still haven’t received any ascended weapon chest or anything remotely valuable. I’d like to know what the true chance of getting ascended gear from WvW rank chests is, because it’s definitely higher than a 1 in 312 chance >_< A.K.A zero chance.

Any improvement is a good improvement, but you are right… the rewards are pathetic. If they’re going to give more items, then add more silver too? Maybe another laurel in there as well (which take forever to accumulate as it is so perhaps this would be a welcome addition)?
