A very hard to get “hidden” level, with a low (1% ?) chance of getting selected instead of the 2nd to 3rd fractal ( to avoid chain resetting ). Of course the party would be closed during this, to avoid kicks to let a guildie join and all the drama from that.

A straightforward (5min) run with multiple chests, weak (even neutral) mobs dropping twice as much with a higher chance of fractal weapons.

Even if its very unlikely to get, it would make any fractal run ALOT more exciting just for the possibility of it

Be prepared for the whining given the low RNG chance.

It would not be fun and serve no purpose. Bonus mission is OK as long as unlocking it is within control of the players (/bow, out of cluck and similar achievements)

Oh, I was gonna pop in and say “There already is a bonus level on every even difficulty” but I guess that wasn’t what ya meant.

Anyways, instead of RNG, how about make the party wide skill affect the appearance?
There could be several different methods for it to appear, to support different types of playing styles, for example the amount healed, damage dealt, DPS dealt, amount of damage negated by toughness, amount of damage negated by dodgin, amount of combo’s. Ect.
Could have a combination of several criteria listed above to ensure players aim for balanced gameplay. (Like if part deals 500k damage total on the 3 first fractals, and heals for 100k, a extraspecial bonusfractal could appear. Or alternatively, instead of damage peaks combined DPS of 20k or something)

People who can argue often offer a good and meaningful conversation about the subject.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.

Tieing it to anything gameplay related would be a TERRIBLE mistake, people would find those factors, discover how to min/max em and then start looking for specific party compositions/equip in order to maximize the chance of the bonus lvl spawning.

Would turn something that is just fun and exciting into a problem for fractal pugging as whole.

Seriosly, this RNG IS BAD makes sense on stuff like legendaries , MF, or anything you need in order to progress – take it out of the game as a whole and the whole experience will feel dull and unexciting.

Even if in hundreds runs you never get into such level, its not like you NEED to in order to progress, its just the rewards of 2 normal fractals condensed in 5 min, with a higher chance for good drops.

I’d rather just have random bonus levels instead always the same one. that you get after any 3 fractals (not just even ones) as long as you do something relatively easy and certainly doable in the previous 3 fractals, like taking less than 1 hour for each previous fractal, or having less than 5 defeats in at least one player.

They should also have bonus levels inspired on:
- Echovald Forest’s Urgoz’s Warren.
- The Realm of Torment.
- Grenth’s Underworld.
- Balthazar’s Fissure of Woe.
- The Mad King’s labyrinth.
- Snowman’s lair, with snowmen and grentchies.
- Lyssa’s maze of mirages.
- Melandru’s Endless Forest.
- Dwayna’s Playground (a bonus fractal with minigames instead combat).
