I remember in this forum was many topics with suggestions to add mounts in game, and I wrote in all. Where is these topics? Anet just remove them, for not to listen to the wishes of their players? So, I still want mounts, and I can explain why. Why devs wont listen?

Because this is GW2, we have waypoints and mounts are pointless.

You would use them for like 5 secs. Also, mounts wouldn’t make sense lore-wise, because we never had them. Now we would have 35835 kinds of mounts all of a sudden. Magic..

This is just an old MMO habit you will hopefully forget finally..

Please do not ever add mounts to this game.

People stopped posting in them and they fell off the front pages. If you search your posting history you can find them. No conspiracy theories about how they were all removed needed. Seek and you shall find.

Guild wars 1 did have mounts in the game. A grand, amazing, spectacular total of.. Drum roll please.. 2.

Despite the fact that I strongly prefer the waypoint system over mounts I am actually in favor of mounts for some special areas. Such as dungeons, story missions, or on maps that provide one for you. However, these mounts have to be usable in combat or to pass a barrier that can’t normally be past. They cannot just be something that gets you from point a to point b. If they are going to be in the game, they should add something to the experience, not a travel mechanic.

Mounts needed on WvWvW in battles, as in Lotro, but, I think, Anet can make mounted battle more cool. And mounts needed for exploration, not just jump from wp to wp.

there are cosmetic mounts in the game. If you look around however how many times they are used it seems the amount of people interested in them is very limited. Showing it is actually not worthwhile to create them.

Maybe start supporting Arenanets effort and buying available mounts??? They wont make more if these dont sell!!

And why are you so randy for mounts?

I think the IDEA of mounts sounds great, but it’s KNOWING what people are like that makes me say NO. You start with something cosmetic and for a time things will be ok, but then people will CREEP and start saying BUT i paid (1 million gold!?) for my mount it SHOULD at least give me a 5% speed boost when i run, and the CREEP will continue…. I paid (2 million!?) gold for my mount it should give me an armour boost, speed boost, xp gain, karma increase, additional laurels a day and scratch my back too while saying yes master…..

It isn’t mounts. I want just usual horse! I think my warrior with greatsword not looks too good on broom…

Horses seems to be extinct on main-land Tyria though.

They were getting locked because there already was a merged thread on the front page and people kept making more instead of using the thread the moderators wanted them to use.
