Guild Wars 2

I know people have listed loads of reasons they’d like a LFG System, but I think mine is a bit different at heart.

On a low population server (like mine, Whiteside Ridge) I am finding it really very difficult to get groups together or to join a group for Storymode instances.

The problem I have with this is that one of the things I am enjoying most with GW2 is the story progression and in particular the personal storyline (one of your flagship ideas I really did fall in love with, ANet).
However, for the personal story to reach its full potential it needs 2 things:
>to be done at level appropriate times
and
> to do be done alongside the world’s instances, in order, again at the appropriate levels.

No one wants their story to fall out of sync with what they’re doing in the public game, and the result of this for me is that I have been sitting around trying to find instance groups for what feels like forever because my personal story and level are both too high to take an further without it feeling like I’ve missed something crucial in the instance story components.
This is why I really think there needs to be a fix for finding groups for specific instances much more easily.

TL,DR: GW2 story is really enjoyable, but partly ruined because some of the important parts are in instances. Instances are near impossible to find groups for without a better LFG tool. Therefor, I want a specific LFG tool so I can actually start enjoying the storyline again.

It was really cool being able to bring people along for story arcs in City of Heroes.

City of Heroes also rewarded people other than the person who was given a quest for doing the instance related to it, something this game needs.

Well I have trouble finding a group to, I’m still looking for one so I could do Twilight Arbor but to no avail.

I’d like to play with a group but if a Looking for Group Finding System is out of the question then the Dungeons will have to scale to party size in the future so it can be done solo.

I’m outside of Twilight Arbor on the “Devona’s Rest” server. Nobody else is here, I just spent about 30 mins jumping from Lions Arch to Divinity’s Reach advertising with no responses. Even listed myself as LFG, but the window was empty since I was the only one using it. Nobody in the guild is available.

I guess I’m not going to Twilight Arbor.

I waited 40 more minutes to get in with a group. But the servers crashed and we couldn’t finish the run.

I’d love to have a world-wide LFG tool in which you can set the things you want to do from a list. At least 3 or 5 things.

The things could be anything, events you are aiming to do, skill challenges you are having a hard time alone, a certain dungeon path, making a party to roamn WvW, the current personal storyline quest of any of your characters…
