I’m really disappointed legendary’s are not account bound, you speend 1000’s of hrs to craft this weapon and now its stuck on 1 character, just seems such a waste. It would be nice if they made them account bound so you could share them between your different toons.

Now that I really think about it, that does sound kind of disappointing.
Unlike most other gear which only take a little elbow grease and maybe a week at most to get, Legendaries take an excruciating amount of time to make.

legendairy’s should be account bound, after all it’s something you with your entire account achieved, not the character. they should also be able to equip on any character and scale down to the stats of a gold (until there are exotics, then exotics) of that lvl. If i earn a legendairy i want to enjoy it on my entire account.

I was wondering why the stuff you buy from Miyani can’t be account bound, instead of soulbound?
If I work on legendary for my main, I’d like the chance to e.g. buy the eldritch scroll for skill points bought on one alt, and perhaps crystals bought on another alt.

Anyone see any problems with these being account bound instead of soulbound?

You can do this, the gifts are account bound and you only ever need 1 souldbound per gift i think. Clovers are also account bound.

+1 – I’m not getting a Legendary until I can share it across characters.

+1 This does seem rather silly.

Legendaries should be unlockable skins you dynamically apply to any compatible weapon dynamically like with dyes.

Use a legendary skin item, and it becomes unlocked to the account.
Put an exotic/ascended item in a slot of any character, and if you have a compatible legendary skin, the ‘legendary skin’ button appears. Click on it and the legendary skin panel appears and you can choose the available legendary skins to apply to it.

I agree, making legionaries soul bound means you never swap this weapon between characters… meaning if you lose that character you lose that weapon… FOREVER.
