Q:
Why can't exotic items be account bound?
You have the freedom to experiment with new builds in the heart of the mists. Once you’re ready, you can port it to dungeons, pve, wvw, or anything that tickles your fancy. Spoonfeeding players isn’t quite the way to build diversity, though.
You missed the point of what I am trying to convey.
Firstly, experimenting in the heart of the mists does not constitute towards an accurate representation of World vs World or PvE, therefore the builds you use there will not be nearly as accurate.
Secondly, the builds you create are only as temporary as arena net’s fixes, updates, balances and new implementations. Thus anything you worked tirelessly for has an unknown period of utility.
Thank you for trying to answer my question but I would like a moderator or someone from Arenanet to actually tell us why this implementation would be negatively realized within the GW2 world.
because that would reduce the game economy even more than it already is. the economy in gw2 is more like a monarchy or a communist. anet took away the rich ori vein in southsun, so no one goes there anymore and the price in ori rose. putting it there in the first place lowered the price. anet is king essentially. and god. lol. which makes sense since they are the creators of this universe and they are the lifeforce of the game. we are the blood haha. ok, enough going on a tangent. every item on the TP is meant to drive the economy. Take something away, and you change the economy. good or bad, it just reduces player freedom. go save up coin, or go get karma temple gear.
