Something I’ve noticed lately is there’s no real… progression in the way you show off your items unless it’s extremely on one side of the line.

For instance, Legendaries (and some non) can cost you thousands of gold, but on the other side, 90% of the gear is below a hundred gold. Aside from maybe a few of the “Mist” weapons (pruple ones), you don’t really see any gear that isn’t insanely expensive, or fairly cheap (less than a hundred gold).

I think it’d be really nice to see some sort of middle ground items to farm for. Maybe some more items that require Gifts and such, but aren’t legendaries? They might have a nice unique design or look and set you back a hundred gold or so (Or more, just not to the extreme of legendaries).

I just don’t like how my options feel limited to buying a 40 gold item or a 2000 Gold item.

It is due to mechanics not requiring them.

Unless you have 46.5 chromosomes the cheap crap will get you almost anywhere – and only one place NEEDS better.

These weapons are unique in appearance, require some resource gathering but aren’t as hard as legendary weapons and can still make you stand our from the more common weapons. I do believe these are “In-between”

The thing is…weapons stats are the same across the board. You can get a weapon virtually for free just by running some dungeons(CoF anyone?). So you don’t need to buy an exotic weapon off the AH at all. I’m actually surprised the prices are as high as they are.

But, even with that said, there are already some higher priced items to be had. Take a look at the weapons that are only gotten via the mythic forge. I believe those would be your inbetween weapons you are looking for.

some of those are kitten expensive, and some not so much but alot of those on the list just look like crud and the ones that don’t have crazy requirements of gift of light or 250 ecto’s o 250 of something else not as expensive but definitely not cheap.

but that’s exactly what the thread starter was asking for. “Kinda expensive” with nice looks, not everyone has. Between default exotic and legendary.
