You get this really fun racial ability to summon the help of a Snow Wurm, but after every summoning period it dies. It is hard to explain, but this really breaks the immersion factor involving this ability. There are obviously various implausible elements to summoning a wurm out of the ground anywhere you are, but sacrificing those facets of believability for the sake of gameplay is completely understandable. Having your little toothy comrade die after every summon, however, is really sad. I suggest you make him simply sink into the ground until next summoning. Prease!

My golems explode… I have to go to my home instance to rebuild them and/or redesign them everytime. My back hurts from carrying his ruined frame all the time. :(

The act of summoning a Snow Wurm also alerts hungry predatory birds. Your wurm knows this, and pretends that he is an old, long dead corpse. It is his way to avoid being eaten when the predators come looking for a meal. (Carrion eaters don’t generally arrive until later.)
