Yes, we need preview of stuff in Black Market. Sometimes I’d like to purchase something that is lower level, but looks cool so I could just transmute item.

At the risk of a bad pun, you need to get your priorities straight. Previewing from the Trade Post, I agree it would be nice, I want it too, but there’s a ton of other things that are more important.
They have acknowledged that people want it, they have even said that it is on their todo list, which is pretty good considering most suggestions that get implemented never see an offical rubberstamp before they are announced in patch notes.
Be patient. ArenaNet built this game. They poured half a decade of their lives into it’s creation. They know what’s best for it. Let them work and give them the credit that they deserve and the trust that they have earned.

i didnt say it the ONLY priority but it been asked for over a month and i just dont get why they are pushing it back. there is probably some reason i dont know about. sorry i really want this since my armor is super hideous.
the feature is a must, especially for a game with such great art and design.
but.. there’s really enough stuff to do (I’m about 320h in and haven’t even gotten 100% world yet) before ‘optimizing’ your looks, so I understand they prioritize this below the very important bugfixes all around.
a roadmap for all the planned changes would be nice though – as is normal for any large-scale project with lots of stakeholders and affected endusers. but it seems game developers in general (not only anet) don’t really follow the normal procedures for their software projects – though I don’t really know why a game would be any different from any other piece of software created and sold by professionals…

Considering the Trading Post is actually HTML being rendered by the in-game browser… that doesn’t seem easy to implement at all.
