Why, oh why can we no longer bank coin?
I believe this is yours.
They said there were problems with them having both a bank and a wallet. However you can make a guild bank for yourself with storage and put money in there. You can either farm gold and buy influence or farm influence to pay for it.
i honestly think they should leave gold the way it is and make karma per character, instead of account. but since they already made it account, its kinda screwed over anyway.
The way i say it, Karma was like a special currency per character so that you could only use what that character has earned.
I understand what you mean, but gold was already transferable, and if they were to go back to the deposit, I would like it whenever i am buy something (no matter from were ) it would use up the gold the character has first, but then dip into (and show) the banks gold as well (what you have deposited)

Personal guilds are flawed. Further more, their are far too many bugs in the guild banking system that does NOT make it work like a proper bank. Not to mention just to get a personal guild up that far, it actually takes quiet a bit. IF they fixed these issues, then i could see your argument take place, but until the bugs and issues are fixed, their is no point in your argument EXCEPT for me to type this ad bring it up to the developers attention
A guild bank is not a solution. I am already in a guild, I don’t want to switch who I rep just for access to my money.
Yes the wallet is great for all the dungeon tokens and relics etc; but I agree that coin and karma should be left out. Can’t say I have just a lot of karma for anything anyway.
Learn to manage your coin like you would real money. Don’t go hog wild every time you see some shiny on the TP.
That’s an odd remark. Do you carry all of your money with you all the time? Bank accounts are a useful way of managing your money, I know that’s what I use irl.

I carry my check card with me everywhere I go and it has a substantial amount of money available with a high daily spending limit. That money is for all sorts of things, bills, food, gas and other things. Your comment was that you were afraid you would “fritter it away”, in other words blow it, waste it so forth. I could easily do so with my check card but I exercise self control just like I do with my in game coin. Yes I have savings accounts too but at any time I have access to those as well. I could blow all of it in one night in Las Vegas if I was careless and thus “fritter it away”.
If you are that worried set yourself a minimum balance. That is what I do. I have my minimum set to a number that I know will cover all my alts needs. I don’t spend coin below it. Everything else is “play money” (well technically it’s play money anyway). I do the same thing with my check card account as an emergency fund.
